One of the coolest bars I have ever been to. As others have said, fantastic back patio with greenery and statues. Very quiet which makes for easy conversing. They’re sandwiches are tasty, but nothing to write home about- just a good sandwich. That atmosphere though…
Didn’t have the food, just came for a drink. But the atmosphere is beautiful. The patio is housed under a roof of wisteria, lights strung up, and old stone garden/patio furniture scattered about. Awesome awesome little place. Would definitely recommend!
Pretty cool dive. Went there for a beer and planned on eating dinner but couldn’t figure out where to order until about 10 minutes in so we just grabbed a beer (FYI – there are no waiters that come to your table so order at the bar) On the plus side, they had live music, a cool outside patio and some good beers to choose from. I wouldn’t go here with my wife again but it would be a good lunch spot or a post work beer spot.

This (manager) be crazy. Caroline is the meanager. Never seen her before tonight. Kicked us out for no reason. If she only had a heart….Call first, ask if Caroline is there. If not. GO. Awesome place.
Best sandwiches in Birmingham. Moved from Nashville 2 yrs. ago and had given up on B’ham lunch scene until today, 7/9/14! WILL come back.
