Great food and service! The salsa is really good-chunky, light with wonderful flavor. Oh, yes, don’t think you can stop dipping those warm chips. Chicken tacos are served as build-your-own with fabulous ingredients. My guy loved the chicken enchiladas -plenty to fill you up but short of making you terribly uncomfortable (for the plate -cleaners among us).A party of about 20 came in shortly after us and watching our waitress cover them was impressive. And she made a point to stop by regularly to make sure we were satisfied.We put our name in and went down the street to the great Collins Bar. Highly recommend that-they called us when our table was ready!

This is my favorite restaurant in Birmingham. Anything and everything you order taste wonderful from the cocktails to the food. The atmosphere is nice and cozy and you will love the experience for sure. The kitchen is open and you get to see how the chefs work.
Hot and Hot is always great. I set my expectations really high, so sometimes I feel like the food falls a little short, but it is only because I expect so much. The food can be quite rich. The cocktails are excellent.
Farm to table goodness! Tomato salad is a must! So sweet and in season! It’s a party in your mouth! Sit at the chefs counter and watch the culinary masterminds at work, Worth every dollar.
This is definitely my favorite restaurant in Birmingham! Every time I go here everything is delicious (and I try something different every time with the seasonal menus). The staff is well educated on the menu and usually has great wine and liquor suggestion with each dish. It’s one of those restaurants where I feel safe in trying foods I don’t usually like because I know that Chef Hastings and his staff have prepared it in such a way I will not only eat, but enjoy. My only complaint is that inside the restaurant is extremely noisy and crowded. If possible, always eat outside.
Went with friends and husband last year for my birthday. It did not disappoint. Loved everything: atmosphere, service, ambiance, cocktails, wine, food, dessert. I was concerned initially that for the 7 pm reservation that we would be rushed for a second seating, but the opposite happened. The waiter let us linger for as long as we wished. He was on point with educating us but also letting us have space.He made great cocktail and wine recommendations for our appetizer and entree choices. Overall, a superb experience – just as I remembered from years ago. Will return with bells on!
