Our party visited on a Saturday night and had about an hour wait. It was difficult to get drink service at the bar because the bartender ignored anyone not seated at the bar. Once we were seated the service was very good. Our appetizers arrived quickly and we didn’t wait long for our meal. I ate scallops with green pea risotto which was excellent. Two people who ate the seafood platter were disappointed. The crab mac and cheese was a big hit. The atmosophere is casual and loud- the wrong place if you like quiet ambiance. Would definitely return.
First time here. Oysters were great! Alligator appetizer was superb! Service was on par and the whole experience and meal was everything to be expected. From drinks at the bar to desert I don’t have a single negative thing to say.
You will do yourself a disservice if you go here and do not ask for Mark. He created the most pleasant dining experience one can ask for. Full of energy and conversation. He makes all of the food sound delicious as he describes it! And the food is delicious! We got the sampler platter and it was really good. Fried shrimp, crawfish, and more! I will definitely be coming back here. Nice vibe, too! Pricey, but you get plenty of food!
Good food. Check your bill before paying. Our waitress added on a $23.95 dinner on ours that we did not order. Took forever for the manager to get that all straightened out. It was a hassle.
My husband and I went on a Saturday evening at 4:30. We were told an hour wait but it was only about 30 minutes. We were seated and drink order taken by a young lady then brought out by our waiter. The atmosphere was so loud around us, I could not hear his descriptions of the appetizers. We just ordered our meals and skipped the appetizer. The food is prepared fresh so be prepared to wait and it’s worth the wait. My husband had the bacon wrapped shrimp. I had the grilled rainbow trout with shrimp. Both tasted great! It was a nice treat. Prices a little higher than other places but for fresh food that tastes great, it’s okay once in a while to treat yourself. Will go again for a special occasion
First off we went on the day before Valentine’s so we knew we would have to wait. Arrive and it’s going to be a 3 hour wait. So we go to the bar and order our drinks. Overpriced! Mine was 13.50 and did not fill a thing after I drank it. Now we were able to find a table in the bar luckily. We were allowed to order appetizers there. The crab and shrimp fondue was great! Our friends got the spinach and crab dip and said they didn’t taste any crab in it. We ended up waiting the full 3 hours when we got seated. I had the Mardi Gras pasta and it was fabulous! Oh I almost forgot..our service once we were seated was great. In the bar not so much. They were extremely busy so I’ll give them a pass on that. Will definitely be back:)
Awesome!!! Nice portion of food, i order the same dish each visit, seafood platter but next visit will try different dish. Once your seated the wait is not long. Good customer service.
