Taj isn’t only my favorite Indian restaurant in Birmingham, it is my favorite restaurant. I love this place. Their food is amazing and fresh. it is the closest to authentic Indian that I have found. The lunch buffet is a great way to try several dishes. Also, if you are a vegetarian then this is the place to go. You will have more options than anywhere else.
New to Indian food and loved this place! The decor felt as though you were being treated as a guest in their home. The food was delicious! I’m intrigued to go back again and try something new.
Goat curry + masala tea = perfect meal. I love their prices and quality of food. I haven’t eaten the buffet yet because I always have dinners here. Everyone is nice and I love the copper cups for water. Mmm may need to run and get goat curry right now!
The Taj. Amidst the way it looks outside, you’ll be surprised once you’re inside the restaurant. Its like traveling to a new other place.with the smell of the indian incense, the interior design takes you to a magical placewe had lunch buffet and everything was delectable. chicken masala, the tandoori’s, no argument to the entire spread.
Pure comfort and deliciousness. Food is great. Service is awesome. I ordered the pander pakora and Dal Makney. Great little restaurant. I will be back!
Great Experience. I have never been here before or ever had Indian food. The servers were very helpful (I hope they didnt think i was some sort of dumb redneck, lol)and the food was amazing and so flavorful. I ordered a yogurt drink called a lassi that was very good as well. I will be back!
Visitor from Gadsden. I had never eaten at an Indian restaurant before, and wanted to try it. The place is fairly small, but very nice. I got a sampler, and while I didn’t care for everything on the sample platter, most of it was delicious. The sampler ranged from very mild to rather spicy hot. Also, I thought the service was excellent and everyone was very polite.
