We love Carlton’s! My husband and I are pizza lovers and we are obsessed with theirs. Pepperoni, bacon, and feta is our favorite. Service is always friendly. The atmosphere is so great with a chippy wood ceiling, salvage tongue and groove walls, and old doors transformed into dining tables. A few tips, the Alfredo sauce is not house made but the marinara is. The garlic bread or cheese bread is nothing special, go for the focaccia FOR SURE! Spin dip is not that great. Please save room for dessert and get their homemade cheesecake or pecan praline cannoli. Your taste buds will thank you.
Absolutely worth the trip to Cullman to just eat at Carltons! My husband had the Mushroom Ravioli, my dad had the Baked Lasagna, and my son and I split a large pizza…we will return! It reminded all of us of an Italian icon that we loved for decades, Carnaggios in Midfield! You must try it if you love Italian food!
Excellent little restaurant!. Husband & I both got the spaghetti and meatballs and it was perfect! Very tasty garlic bread personal loaf. We had the side salad which had incredibly fresh excellent quality spring greens. Even the iced tea was great!The cozy decor is a nicely done rustic shabby chic.There is a very nice outdoor dining area, too.We travel thru this area 2-3 times a year & will most certainly be back.
Very good italien Food. Carlton’ Italian has excellent food in a nice quaint setting. You can also watch games or eat outdoors. The food especially the Lasagna is awesome as is the bread rolls deserts and everything. The prices are not too bad wish it was a hair cheaper, but don’t we all at all restaurants; but the quality and friendly servers make for a wonderful meal.
Overall, Delightful evening with superior dishes one would expect from fine dining restaurant in much larger cities. Excellent service, again and outstanding value. Can’t wait to try other entrees next visit. 5 stars.
Good. Much better than any local Italian chains, food wise anyway (service is a way different story). GREAT lasagna, above average pizza, decent salads.
To little to be so big. Always crowded, which sadly makes service awful. It would be such a great little Italian place, but their eyes are to big for their stomach (meaning, they think they can handle much more then they are actually capable of) at any normal eating hour the wait is ridiculously long, when you finally get to sit down, it take a long time to get the meal. Food is good, just as any other Italian restaurant. Atmosphere (besides the amount of people) is quaint. so in summery, just expect that there will be a mob of people there at all times and your good.
