Great little place downtown Cullman where they are making fresh food! The fried green tomatoes were incredible! You can get just about everything you could imagine fried. They also have some nice non fried choices! The burgers are fantastic and some great beer choices! Glad we came off the interstate a bit to get here!
Just ate here on our way home to GA. Best chicken salad I’ve ever eaten and my husband had the best burger he’s ever had! And he has had lots of burgers! Iced tea was fabulous. A must if you’re passing anywhere near Cullman. Staff was friendly and very attentive.

Great Selection. The owner, Wayne is almost always there making certain that things are consistently good. Very nice, large selection of wings – MUCH better than most national or state wide chains. Beyond the wings, they have killer fries sandwiches & desserts. Neat little place in Cullman that you owe it to yourself to try once and judge for yourself……after that, I’m betting that you will be back
Try the Wings and Fries!. Used to eat here every Saturday when I lived in Cullman, Wayne Smith, the owner was always present and friendly. The food is great, all things considered. It is the only place in Cullman to get good wings, and the sandwiches and meals are good in general. Worth eating, definetly.
The Downtown Grill in Cullman, Alabama is a very appealing resturant. The Downtown Grill has a variety of foods, that are all worth trying. I have been to the Downtown Grill to many times to count. Friday night August 13th, 2010, I took my mother there for the first time. They have cheese fries, chili cheese fries, many many sandwhiches that are exquisite and desserts to die for!(: They have amazing service and the owner is super duper friendly. I ordered a Fried Twinkie with Vanilla Icecream and my mother had a Fried Twinkie without ice cream. The owner came right up to our table and engaged a conversation with us he saw that my mom did not get ice cream. He came back to the table moments later with a bowl of strawberry cheesecake ice cream and did not charge her for it. He was super friendly and thats definately something to appreciate. It’s hard to find good service these days. And the Downtown Grill is not lacking in that area.
