This place is terrible. We ate dinner there and the food was absolutely terrible. Half the food was cold and what was hot tasted awful. When we complained they basically just invited us not to come back.
Food wasnt bad, but as we finished eating a roach ran across the back of our booth. We were not even offered a simple apology. If thats in the dining room whats in the kitchen?
I always give Restaurants another chance if possible. We visited Margaronas and they did very well. Not sure if we had hostess that was upset on our first visit, but this time was totally different experience. So my rating will be 4 this time. Hope they keep up the good work and keep cooking excellent food. PS, Fajitas now come with Tortillas and all the fixings. ( OLD Review )Not a good experience.. Not worth the visit given the many options, …well other options the city has. I would consider paying more for quality, but wouldn’t say Margaronas Cantina fits the bill. Their margaritas were OK, but nothing stood out as outstanding. Service was substandard as well. We ordered two different items, Steak Burrito and Fajitas. When we finally got Fajitas waitress set down hot plate and left. No Tortillas, Rice, Beans, Sour Cream or Guacamole. We asked the waitress if they came with meal and she said Tortillas came with meal if you ask for them. I am not sure about anyone else, but I want tortillas with fajitas and have never had to ask for them. We were told the other items were an extra charge.
Delicious authentic Mexican cuisine. One of the best Mexican restaurants I have ever enjoyed. Authentic traditional versions of Mexican food not as Americanized as typical. Not going back. Bad Service – stood at the front door for over 15 minutes, and there were PLENTY of open tables, before anyone even said anything to us. Then when we DID get seated, it was another 15 minutes before they come and took our drink order. Bad Food – Once the food arrived, we had been there almost an hour, ti was terrible. We ordered a burrito and a taco salad. How hard is those to make??The bill was pricey, but had to stand at the counter another 10 minutes (no one else in line) before they come to take my money.Won’t be going back there!!
