The ribs and the pulled pork were wonderful. A nice, smokey taste that we enjoyed. So why the horrible rating you might ask? My mothers chicken was still bleeding. Not only is that disgusting, it’s a health hazard.
Best BBQ in town. Scary outside, looks like has never been remodeled, but the food is great.20 Jul, 2014Scary appearance, but great food. OK, so I am bit if a snob. This place just looks rickety, the inside looks clean, but appears that it needed an update in the 80s. But the BBQ is divine. The best part is that the sauce is always on the side. (I grew up with a Texan and Southern BBQ is too sweet for me). I am aware that I am weird but I would prefer BBQ with no sauce to BBQ with too much sauce. If you smoke it right, the meat itself shines; you don’t need to cover it with sauce.
