Big Daddy is big on great BBQ. He has catered our tailgates, birthdays, and other events many times. I love BBQ and I have tried everyone in town. Big Daddy is the place to go. Its a dive joint next door to a dry cleaner a block off of Main Street. His hours are funny so call before you go. This isnt a long review because the food speaks for itself. Get to know Big Daddy and his wife, they are the salt of the earth.
I wouldn’t rate their BBQ as the best around nor would I say it’s the worst. I will say that it is good. It’s also simple. There’s pork, beef, or chicken. Beans, coleslaw, or rice. Sweet tea, unsweetened tea, or water. The building is simple, it’s not fancy. But the hospitality is excellent…to the point I felt I had to take off my hat when I sat down.I’ll go back for more.
