Never Again!. I was in flight school several years ago but as many know we always get called back to Mother Rucker. I use to love coming into Oscars and it was for two reasons: Quarter Wings on Wednesday and Hot Ass Bartenders (BONUS: these girls actually knew how to bartend!). I got assigned to come back here for the next six weeks and I refuse to go back in that place. First, the wings are NOT a quarter any more like they continue to claim that they are. You wouldn’t realize it unless you actually looked at your final bill. That wouldn’t be a problem if they didn’t lie about it to get business. They also claim to have Karaoke on Wednesday nights to draw customers in but whoever the guy is that is in charge of it refuses to actually do his job. So you are stuck listening to either 80’s or hairband music and that gets old really quick. I came in for a couple of the bartenders because they knew me even after all this time and what I drank. Plus, they were hot and fun and kept me and my buddies wanting to come back in to see them. So all the bartenders worth a damn no longer work there (if someone knows where they went let me know so I can go there!). Now all you have is two loud mouth, fat know-it-all drunks behind the bar and some girls that clearly were hired for their looks and not for their ability to make drinks. What the Hell Oscar?! This place use to be the staple for us at Rucker. I wouldn’t step back into this bar even if it is one of like the only 4 bars in town. Why should I continue to give my money to a place where the food is mediocre, the service sucks, some of your staff yells and talks bad to its customers and its not like it use to be. Oscar needs to really revamp this place and hire new workers if he wants to keep good customers. I will not let anyone I know go in there ever again! Thanks for keeping the good memories alive Oscar.
Good food. I do like Oscar’s. I have been going to Oscar’s for many years and consider Oscar a friend. Much of the food on the menu is good, however the nachos are not. It was big blob of a mess. Their claim to fame is Wednesday .25 wings. The wings are good. But, the wings at the Landing Zone on Ft Rucker are better!!!! Oscar has more flavors, but the Landing Zone has a much higher quality of wing and much larger. If you like chicken wings and haven’t tried them at the LZ you should.

Wednesday 25 cent wing night is awesome. Drinks are very reasonable too.
