Food was good. If you like southern food, then you will be okay with this restaurant. If you don’t want turnip greens, fried green tomatoes, fried catfish, meatloaf, or pork chops, go somewhere else. The wait staff was attentive. Prices weren’t cheap, but were not out of sight, either.
Love that country cookin. My favorites are the fried green tomatoes, the whole shebang salad, grilled shrimp, and the breadsticks taste like donuts. Yumm!

Wasn’t great but wasn’t bad staff was nice
Good food/family. I go here with my family every Sunday. I haven’t ever had a bad meal. It is good southern cookin’ like your grandma makes. The fried pickles and fried green tomatoes are yummy!
Its a chain. What can you say. It is a chain. The ground chuck steak was actually prety good. They need to pay attention to details so you dont get a part of a stem in a sliced tomato. The beans in the rice and beans were overcooked and the rice seemed like instant rice. The onions that came with the gravy seemed like they had been in a dry warmer for hours as they were overly dry. Hey but what do you expect for less than 10.00
When I was little, pofolks was THE place to go. Awesome food awesome service. Today the food was subpar and the staff was still pretty attentive. Back to the food…pofolks needs to either clean their oil or stop overfrying! No one likes hard dry food…
