For a special occasion nice atmosphere, well prepared food!. I’ve eaten there twice. Both times my husband enjoyed the perfectly prepared Filet with Blue Cheese Slaw*, Wedge Salad and delicious house red wine. I also had the filet and it was was delicious. The first time there I felt the Blue Cheese slaw tasted a bit soft and runny like it was premade and refrigerated. The second time there I tasted my husband’s slaw and the taste was distinctly fresher. The slaw was very fresh tasting so I knew the first time it was pre prepared. Our second experience there my husband loved the filet so much he ordered it again. I ordered the roasted Gulf Shrimp fettuccine and it was delicious. I did feel the plated amount seemed undersized but it was filling because I ate plenty of bread. I also noticed on my husband’s plate (the second time we ate there) there were considerably less roasted potatoes. Both times the Blue Cheese Wedge salad was fresh. I also tend to notice details of the atmosphere. Blown out lighting catches my attention and two lights were out in the same location both times we dined. Neither time we were there was very busy so the staff seemed to take the opportunity to clean – using some kind of cleaner near where we were seated. I could smell the cleaner and I did not like that. Also, although not unique to RAWLS was that the server FREQUENTLY stopped by our table (interrupting our quiet conversation) to ask it everything was O.K. I feel this is disruptive to a dining experience as it makes you feel rushed and is rude to simply interrupt diners. Seasoned wait staff know to hang back and make eye contact and if they are needed the diner will indicate so. I think some consistent improvement would make Rawl’s 5 star across the board.

Delicious. We ate 2 nights in a row… So good loved all of it we had the pasta with shrimp, ribeye , next night had the filet and ribeye…. Appetizers were okra hush puppies and pork belly! All of it was awesome! We will be back!

High Hopes. Went in pretty excited about something in the area more upscale. I have been meaning to go for ages. Waitress was very nice. Atmosphere was ok – a bit stark and quiet. No light music and it’s quite small so you can’t help but hear everything from other tables. Like many places, they bring you a bit of bread and butter first – the butter is sweet and lovely. The fried oyster app was OK. Not amazing but not bad. The filet was disappointing. Ordered medium rare but it just was not that melt in your mouth tender texture that I’m used to expecting and it was quite a bit over powered by the dressing from the slaw on top – and I say this as a fan of blue cheese. The seasonal vegetable plate was pretty to look at but strangely, very salty. I didn’t end up eating much of it, sadly. I really wanted to like this place but ultimately, we just didn’t enjoy the food that much and wouldn’t return. :(On a more positive note, the drink menu looked nice, as did the bar area. I would like to come back and check that out some time.

Not a great experience. This place sucks! $175 for 3 people. one got prime rib and it was ok, but dry. Two got shrimp alfredo. shrimp rubbery and overcooked with HARD, DRY pasta with little sauce which was extremely bland and tasted like butter with no cream or cheese. We ordered lava cake for dessert and it was so overcooked it was crunchy. Really? this is supposed to be an upscale restaurant? what is easier to cook than shrimp and prime rib? Service was average at best, and the entire time we were there and obnoxious piano player played obnoxious Christmas music (not nice, classy Christmas tunes but elementary schoolish tunes). Atmosphere sucked!! We couldn’t move without bumping into other patrons. Maybe folks in Enterprise don’t know any better

Happy customer. Rawls Restaurant in Enterprise Al. is fantastic. Not only does it have a great atmosphere, but the service and the food are outstanding. Dothan doesn’t have anything even close to the fine dinning found at Rawles.

Nice lunch reasonably priced. Great historic old charm.

Nicest fine dining restaurant in Enterprise. My husband recently took me here for our 3rd Anniversary. The rack of lamb was wonderful. The service was excellent, too. The chef/owner came out and spoke to us, which I’ve always thought is a classy and considerate thing to do. We did not dress up and felt fine, although you could if you wanted to. The architecture inside the old building was incredible and I felt like I was in a world class dining establishment. If you don’t like white tablecloths, normal portion sizes and not being able to crack peanuts and throw the shells in the floor, then this place probably isn’t for you.
