Came in for lunch. You have a lunch menu and a regular menu to choose from. Ordered French onion soup and bourbon street chicken and shrimp. Food was good,staff was friendly, decor is ok ( i have been to more comfortable and fancier applebees)Recommended if you are looking for good comfort food.
Terrible. As a server, myself, I’m the last person to complain about such service because, I know how the job can be at times. My first experience was awful. Food, and service sucked. So I decided to give Applebee’s another shot. The service, once again, was ridiculous. We waited over 20 minutes before we were greeted by our server. A host approached us to ensure that we were being taken care of. Our drinks were served by a hostess, and the appetizer, and entree’s were delivered at the same time, and were served by a manager. It was a Sunday afternoon, and there were only 4 occupied tables in the entire restaurant, with an empty bar. So, it’s not like they were under staffed, and busy. My mother asked our server if they had another high chair with a child safety buckle that works properly for my son, and she acknowledged my mother speaking, and walked away during the middle of her sentence. Never got drink refills, waited until the check was already delivered to ask if we wanted dessert. The food was mediocre. The chicken got to the table cold, and tasted like rubber. The spinach, and artichoke dip was very good, however. Very small portions of food, for ridiculous prices. Very disappointed, once again. We’ll stick to O’Charley’s, and Ruby Tuesday, where we never have any issues.
