First let me say I am somewhat of a BBQ snob and very hard to impress. But I was impressed – the brisket was just right and very tender. The ribs were just as fall off the bone tender as well. The beans were a big hit and the horseradish potato salad was nice alternative. But a VERY important note is this is a pick up only spot- something we did not know before hand
Everything is superb. In the last two months we have tried everything on the menu, and gone back for seconds on the brisket sandwich and ribs. The food is consistently good. Make sure you try the horseradish potato salad.
Visited Down South BBQ for the first time.. Service was great, the owners were very friendly, the food was exceptional. I will definitely be revisiting .. Corn Bread sandwich was Devine.
Best around. The beach is not known for good Q as most places in the area are average at best. Done South is refreshing with big portions of well cooked meat at reasonable prices. I thought the pork was better than the brisket, and the chicken was good too! Next time I want to try their ribs, Sauce was OK but tasted like Liquid Smoke was added which I am not a fan of. Overall the best around – FYI CASH ONLY NO CREDIT CARDS
Can’t be beat. This place should be Nationally recognized it is so good. No better ribs anywhere.
There is nothing bad you can say about down south. The sauces are great!! Very tasty, the service is quick and efficient. The price is right and the portions are big enough to save some for later 🙂 try the pulled pork plate and the BBQ baked potato they are the best!
