The food their is awful and the servers look like they are drug addicts and very unfriendly. The food tastes old and reheated even though we were seated their 20 minutes after they opened. We complained to the server and they did not seem to care as if it were a common compliant. The server did say the owner is stuck in the past and obviously the food is too. Won’t be back!
Save your money. The food here is not worth what you get. It is old and reheated. The building floors and restrooms are filthy .The food is fresher at McDonalds and at least you know what you are eating. This restaurant is long past closing. Locals know not to eat their. The owners hope they can fool tourists into eating their and so far they have succeeded.
We liked it!. Enjoyed the buffet with our realtor, Kathleen Kershaw, on Thursday, July 11, 2013. We liked the building, the history of it, and our food was very good and so was the service. No complaints, unless it is about the price..12.95 seems a little high for standard buffet food, but we would go back again….
Good and not so good. I love their salad selections. Fortunately, I am a salad person because the meat and vegetable selection leaves lots to be desired. The atmosphere and help are also great even though the price is slightly high. Forget about dessert. I usually just grab one of the cookies because the cakes and pies are horrible.
Terrible, everything was below par. The hot food was cold, and all the food seemed to be old and stale. I remembered the place being so great when I was younger, but literally nothing was good about our dinner. Much too expensive for the meal we had. Will never be back. Disappointing.
Noon buffet. I will not frequent restaurant again. There were many, many items on the buffet but quality was not there. Some of the food tasted stale and all the meat was too greasy. There was fried chicken, pork ribs, pork chops and more but all much tooo greasy. Desserts were few except for layer cake at 3.95 per slice. The desserts that were there tasted old. I was very disappointed
Horrible!!!. My husband and I stopped here for lunch today and was shocked at how terrible everything tasted…the food very poorly made, everthing was way over seasoned or not seasoned at all…They must not have a real cook anymore because the food was ugly and thrown together…muffins and rolls were OLD, the salad was straight out of a bag, just strange looking grey food with no identification what it was or suppose to be… there was mold on the beautiful wood ceiling, and a very dirty little bathroom,( I shiver to think what the kitchen looked like)…and then our waiter had on so much cologne, thats all we could taste. We were there at 11:30 so this is what should be their busy and best time…TERRIBLE FOOD!!! We will NEVER go back and will tell everyone how horrible it was…AND then insult to insult our bill was a ridiculious over priced $34. And the silly little checkout girl just shrugged her shoulders when we complained, like she hears this everyday. I sure she does, bless her heart.
