Mediocre Cheeseburger Sliders. You get what you pay for, and these guys offer an inexpensive regional version of the sliders originally made popular by White Castle beginning in the 1920s or the wonderful ones made by the late, lamented Little Tavern chain in the D.C. area, which sadly went under in 2008. These are mediocre cheeseburgers without much in the way of flavor. Edible, yes. Tasty, no. Compared to these, the basic McDonald’s cheeseburger is a gourmet delight.
