We eat here every time we visit the beach! We get there at (maybe 20 till) opening to get in line, so we have only ever waited maybe 20 minutes. The atmosphere is fun, and the food is delicious! Our toddler was content the whole time too, as he was given a balloon and entertained. We love it!
Arrived before opening. Was seated quickly. Wait staff was friendly. Fried potatoes and cabbage was over cooked and too salty. When I asked if the cabbage was typically that salty, waiter acknowledged that the first batch was over cooked. And, he had made some fresh cabbage. True to his word, the second batch tasted great. If you want some rolls thrown at you, I would recommend arriving later in day to get fresh sides.
This is the rudest place Ive experienced on the entire gulf coast, when my mom asked what the status of our reservation was because her phone was dead the girl caught attitude with her saying, well youve only been waiting 40 minutes I quoted 1:15. Last I heard phones had no solar panels. I let it go, when the waiters had issues, I requested a manager, Pat was not helpful, after I explained my disgust I was told I could leave or go eat and then followed to the bathroom to make sure I could find my table. Not a happy veteran… much happier with northern parts of this chain. So much for southern hospitality.
