The meatball calzone was good but I did not care for their spinach n artichoke dip. The lasagna was okay; their tomato sauce was too sweet for my personal taste. Place was clean and service was good.
This is some of the best Italian food we’ve had in a long time. If we weren’t from out of town we would be here every week!! Two thumbs way up!!

Awesome! The homemade marinara is divine! Garlic nots, even the house salad was wonderful. The fried ravioli was awesome. Great service great food. Can’t say enough good things about this place!
Vegetable Lasagna is devine. Enjoyed another great meal at Portabella’s with 1/2 price wine this past Saturday night. The special was a vegetable lasagna that would make any vegetarian swoon. Great food at wonderful prices with terrific service. We’ll be back soon.
Like a lot of Alabama coastal restaurants, this one is hot and cold. I must follows raving review with a cold one. Literally my Lasagna was cold in the middle. Only one server working her butt off which can only lead to mistakes and patrons feeling slighted. Both were the case tonight.
I have been to Portabellas a few times and I must say the food and staff is excellent. The pizzas are like no others. Best in town. Spinach salad is delicious. My server, I think her name is Jen was very friendly and very attentive. She made me feel at home. Cooks were very friendly. I will continue to eat there.
