This pizzeria is not part of a chain. It is family owned and operated. The emphasis is in 10 inch and 16 inch pizzas made with fresh premium ingredients on hand tossed crust and cooked in a brick oven. I had a white sauce one with Italian sausage, peppers, onions, mushrooms, and lotsa garlic. It was delicious. The 16 inch specialty ones are reasonably priced at $18.99. The have a great lunch special with drink also. They are conveniently located right on Hwy 20 a couple of blocks from OWA, and the Foley sports complex.Try it. You will thank me.
This place has great pizza! All of their Ingredients are fresh and it shows. From the fresh mozzarella, to the house sliced pepperoni and sausage, The Forge is authentic. Awesome customer service, and the owner is very nice and eager to answer any questions. Do yourself a favor and try it.
This new pizzeria in Foley, Ala., that opened in January 2017, features a wood burning brick oven, a rare item in this region. The primary offering is pizza, available in two sizes, with a choice of fresh toppings and quality ingredients. A few other items (e.g., salads) are also available. Other tasty offerings may be added in the future. Before opening, the owner spent time in Brooklyn, New York City, learning the best way to use this unique oven. The servers were all attentive and the knowledgeable owner loves to talk shop with customers. Beer is available. It was kid friendly, as well. Do yourself a favor and stop by to sample their offerings. Again, this is a rare resource in this part of the Alabama Gulf Coast, so please take advantage.
