The salad bar is usually well stocked and the blue cheese is great. The shrimp cocktail is nice with some very delicious and spicy cocktail sauce. Steaks and seafood are a good choice here. The eclair dessert is excellent!!
Where can you get a salad bar that includes romaine lettuce, spinach, deviled eggs, chicken salad, tuna salad, five home made dressings, captains wafers, real bacon bits, croutons and lots more up until 3:00 daily except Sunday? Wolf Bay Lodge in Foley. It is included with most lunch entrees plus a side. Baked potato and baked sweet potato are just two of the sides offered. Abby Ridley Davis chose the huge catfish filet pictured here. Hers was $9. I choose the two filets of tripletail for $11, but could also have had Snapper or Grouper for the same price. All include hushpuppies, which most restaurants are now treating as a side. The portions are much larger than most of the upscale restaurants locally at half the price. The quality and preparation are perfection. It is hard to save room for the coconut cake, but worth the effort. Bring your appetites and prepare to take home a doggie box full.
