We loved the food here. Try the chirzo and cheese dip.Great flavors and friendly staff. Also if you are into HOT, try the habenero salsa. And the fajitas are almost a show.
First time here. Was very good. Busy atmosphere. Friendly service. Food was good – my husband loved his. Salsa had lots of flavor and tasted fresh. Chips were fried thin and served warm. Good guacamole. We aren’t local, but we would definitely be back.
First time here and love it. This is going to be our go to Mexican place. Love the light chips and sauce. All the the food had the Tex-mex flavoring. One of the best, if not the best Mexican food in Baldwin County.Would have given a 5 rating, but since we have lived in West Texas, and have covered North America eating, we know there are better places/food.But for Baldwin County, it’s TOPS.
I dig this place! It is our go-to for yummy margaritas, queso dip (extra hot!) and the chile poblano- baked, not fried. The team there is always friendly. We typically sit at the bar and have enjoyed the handmade margaritas and cold beer often. Definitely worth a trip away from the water to break from the sun and cool off.
Good Mexican for the beach. If you need a little south of the border flavor and a margarita then you have found a good spot. Drink specials during the week if you need it to be 5 o’clock somewhere.
Tonight my husband Evans, 2 year old and I visited the Cactus Cantina and we had an amazing experience. Incredible service, AMAZING salsa, cold beer and wonderful food- what more can you ask for. I ordered the cactus fajita nachos, and my husband had the fish tacos. The food was great. It came fairly quickly and the meat was great quality. The best meal we’ve had on this trip. I definitely recommend this place. We will be back!!
Brings a different flair to the Mexican scene in the area. Best guacamole around by far IMO. The 3 amigos cheese dip is an interesting and tasty twist as well. Salsa is fair but not the most flavorful you’ll have. Seafood burrito is by far my dish of choice, and the enchiladas a close second. Tried the Diablo shrimp, just a bit too cheesy (my fault) and the third shrimp I bit into hadn’t been peeled (not my fault.). Things happen and can’t rule it out over a mistake, definitely worth a try if you’re in the mood for Mexican fare in the Shores area.
