It’s a pretty perfect Ice Cream stop! Friendly people. Ice Cream was GREAT. Not sure what brand they serve but it was really good stuff. I want to go back for food too! Looks like a great place to grab a quick bite!

Simple, good food and super fun owners. I’ll say this, it’s not fancy food. But everyone on a beach trip needs a good pizza or hot dog and shaved ice or ice cream, and this is the place you go to get it. Having had a few, I’d say it’s the best shaved ice on the island (ask the owner about the intricacies of shaved ice; he’s an expert!) and one of only a couple Blue Bell ice cream dealers. The thing that really sets the Flip Flop Deli Shop apart is the owners, Toma and Darcie. They are so much fun. Be ready for lots of silliness when you go in, especially at night. If you just happen to go in when they finish off an ice cream tub, they’ll probably give it to you to eat the last of it from the bottom. They’re from Arkansas and Iowa, respectively, so they love for natives from home to come by.
