We have eaten at just about every restaurant in Gulf Shores, except Mikee’s Seafood. Well tonight we gave it a try. The food is awesome i had all you could eat shrimp and my husband had all you can eat fish. They fill the plates up and the prices are great. The beer is good and cold also! The service was fabulous, our waitress Savannah was friendly she and check on us regularly and had the best personality! I would recommend this place!
OOOOO MMMMMM GGGGGG this place is awesome! There isn’t anything (so far) on this menu that isn’t delicious! From the raw oysters to the fish to the shrimp! And, yes, we’ve been here consecutive nights in a row! Ask for DALE! He just adds to the great experience!!!
We got there and were seated immediately for a party of 2 a little before 5pm. By the time we left, there was not a wait for two, but the lobby and porch were packed with larger parties! 🙂 Food was great and service was wonderful. (We had a gentleman who was an exchange student and he was fabulous!) A bit pricey, but we’re on vacation so it was okay. I loved how the house salad was not just lettuce, but had carrots and even pecans! Generous portions of whitefish and okra came with my meal. Royal Reds were delicious and very fresh-as long as you don’t mind pulling he heads off and shelling them-I highly recommend them. Great place to go on vacation!
Mikee’s came recommended to us. Food and drinks were delicious but the service was below par. Waited for our salads for 20 minutes and had taken a few bites when our food arrived. Waited for 20 minutes for our ticket to check out. When we did get service it was thrown on the table as an after thought.
The Fort Morgan Supper Club met at Mikee’s Seafood Restaurant in Gulf Shores on Monday March 28,2016. Although they would NOT take reservations for groups smaller than 20, our group of 9 was seated promptly. They have packed the restaurant with every possible chair, so seating was tight. As with most fish camp style restaurants in the area, it was also quite loud, and conversation was difficult. Our waitress, Kat, was very friendly but had only been on the job one week, and had no helper. There was a wide variety of appetizers. We had the Chargrilled oysters which were very good. The menu ran the range from sandwiches and poboys to several seafood , pasta ,steak, and chicken entrees. The entree average price point was around $15 including salad and a side. They also offered five fresh catch fish choices, each prepared as you like it– grilled, fried, or blackened. We suggest that Mikee’s provide flags on each of these fish dishes in the kitchen when serving more than one to any given table. We had five of the nine order fish. The only safe bet for the waitress was the tuna which looked nothing like the others. It was almost impossible to tell a blackened mahi mahi from a blackened grouper, or a blackened redfish or blackened trigger fish, etc.Bob ordered blackened redfish with fries. He received blackened grouper with new potatoes, which they took back.Sharon ordered blackened triggerfish, and received it grilled. Another ordered grilled grouper, but got nothing. A few minutes later Bob was served grilled grouper, which he gave up and ate, and a few minutes later the other was served Bob’s blackened redfish, which she ate(it was delicious by the way, as was the tuna). We were there from 5:40 until 8:00 and it was packed the whole time. They were very efficient at turning the tables, and getting the food to you while still hot. They only offered three dessert options…all homemade pies. We would suggest adding a chocolate and ice cream combination to that list. When we left there were about 50 folks waiting to be seated, so bring your patience when you come. This was on a Monday night at 8:00. Imagine what it is like on Friday and Saturday night. Overall this gets an average rating comparable to most of the fish house restaurants in the area during the peak summer and spring break periods. Next week we are going to Cafe Grazie in Orange Beach on Monday April 4, 2016. Please join us there by going to the event and giving us your name and how many. Also join the club while at the site and receive automatic notifications and future reviews.

We’ve eaten here twice since coming into town 4 days ago. Both times the food and service has been great. As of this writing (9/3/15) the royal red shrimp are amazing. Huge and very well done. The marinaded cabbage is different and good
