Food was great, service was very good. Portions were perfect. Prices were a bit high but it was a very nice meal. We would go back but maybe save it for a special night since it was kinda pricey.
Top Choice. Great compliments to Nolans Restaurant in Gulf Shores! The owners are gems and have an outstanding staff throughout. We have enjoyed many Monday evenings in the lounge or outdoor screened in patio and have met or brought numerous friends and neighbors to enjoy with us the friendly and comfortable setting, the delightful music, and the evenings special menu. Last evening, however, was our first fine dining experience at the restaurant. We were completely impressed with the spectacular dinners our group enjoyed, although not surprised as we have always heard extremely favorable comments about Nolans. Each of our varied meals was impeccable, the service was superb, the ambience was excellent, and the cost for such splendid food was truly reasonable in comparison to other fine restaurants in the area. There is no doubt that we will make this our first choice for future special occasions!!
Dinner was great. So happy we went.01 Jul, 2014Do not go in summer . We spent 60 bucks and all we got was drunk. no food had to leave, over served on a empty stomach ….so sad. Two hours of drinks no food is a good business plan.
Nothing negative could be said of our visit. The service, environment, and food were all terrific. Our server was knowledgable of the menu, and made excellent recommendations. We will eat there again!
After several recommendations we decided to try Nolans. We visited last evening 6/26 and were sat in a back area of the restaurant that looked like a private room for larger groups. Beautiful restaurant, great atmosphere, horrible service. What a shame… We won’t return.
Some friends of ours took us there for dinner. The food was wonderful and the service and hospitality was even better. Then we went in lounge and enjoyed some great music by Midnight Confessions. We will definitely go back.John Courtney
