We ordered take out & hopefully that’s why our food was not good. Ordered the seafood pasta & we were highly disappointed. No flavor, Bland, Cheap tasting. The burger was fair. The best thing was the potatoes skins. We will not be going back.
We always stop here for a great pizza lunch. We always leave full. My only complaint is the order of wings, one wing was not done and had to be sent back to be re-cooked.
This famous dive bar/Gulf Shores establishment is really good. Good for a fun time, live music, good pizza, stuffed mushrooms. If you’re pretentious don’t go here. If you want to see the good ole back in the day beach dive bar restaurant… This is your place. Really good!!
While in Gulf Shores, I did a personally conducted oyster shucking contest. Papa Rocco’s won hands down. The oysters were plump and juicy with great flavor. The others I tried were sadly lacking. I don’t eat pizza so I can’t comment on that, but the oysters are excellent!

Excellent pizza! Called in our order and it was ready for pickup in 20 minutes. Staff was friendly and restaurant seemed clean. I have no clue about the oysters. We will have to try them next time.
Best pizza in Gulf Shores! Cajun baked oysters were delicious. Fast, friendly service made for a delicious meal on vacation. Definitely coming back again!
