Great place to order and pick up to take back to condo. Lots of food on all the meals. Be sure to stop on your first day to get a fresh menu since prices and items may change.
Ate here tonight. The staff seemed very preoccupied and it took 20 minutes more than they said to get our food. Granted we had 2 party orders so no big deal. The food was DELICIOUS! Got 2 bow and sterns with 1 lb of royal reds, 1 lb of andouille, 1 lb conecuh sausages. The shrimp and reds were fresh and hot. The sausage tasted homemade. Potatoes were quartered and seasoned well (not like some places that just throw boiled unseasoned potatoes in a plate). Look foward to using them in the future!
Above average, you pick the seafood, then you pick how you want it cooked. Had the fried shrimp, Blackened mahi mahi, hush puppies All very good. Very reasonably priced. We will be back in a few days.
This place rocks. The customer service is and staff are great. Steam shrimp, crab cakes, tuna dip and hush puppies some of best I’ve ever had.
7/4/15 – It was a 20 minute wait to just get seated at The Beach House Kitchen. My husband didn’t want to wait so we came over to S&S Seafood. I’m totally impressed with the 10 minute turnaround for our order of a pound of jumbo butterflied shrimp, onion rings and fries. It was extra to get the shrimp deveined but so WORTH IT! The shrimp, onion rings & fries were piping HOT & DELICIOUS! Very happy customers here!!6/7/15 – Called in order for 1 pound of fried oysters at 12:30 for 12:45 pick-up. It was ready on time, scorching hot off the fryer and we’re sitting on our deck already fat n happy at 1:20 pm writing this review!! Awesome oysters!!A great alternative to those long lines at restaurants in the summer. I order from S&S whenever I have friends visiting. I supplement our shrimp boil with their blackened mahi mahi, fried crab claws and oysters. Delicious!!! Oh, Scott also makes an awesome Smoked Tuna Dip so if there’s a wait here as well, just grab one and savor it with crackers. OR go next door to the Beach House & grab a Happy Hour priced cocktail at the bar while you wait.
The best seafood in the Gulf Shores/Orange Beach area.. I had a blackened fish dinner with cucumber and corn slaw & hush puppies and a crab cake. Every bite was delectable. I have eaten hush puppies in many parts of the South but none as good as they were at S&S. The food came out hot, the fish was fresh, perfectly seasoned, crispy on the outside, moist inside, the crab cake was good and spicy. The cucumber corn slaw had a hint of smoke flavor that made it tasty and unique. Buy your drinks first, pick up your dinner and dine at the beach, you can’t go wrong.
Outstanding. This is some of the freshest seafood in gulf shores and is priced just right. Great for taking back to your condo and eating in. Will for sure be back.
