Lied !!!. Called New Years Eve and asked if they had a table . The guy said, we are empty but we might fill up later. So we drove the 22 miles in because we love their food, only to be told by the hostess that all tables were reserved already.. So after another 22 miles home I’ve come to my point. We come up there with 8 people every week to eat and karaoke..The guy knew the tables were reserved !!!!We will not be coming back !Happy New Year !01 Jan, 2015Lied !!!. Called up New Years Eve and asked for a table and the guy said it’s empty, come on up, but it Might fill up later. I said we’re on our way. Drove the 22 miles and got there to be told that all tables had been reserved !The waitress said sorry he must have not known ! BS !! They’d been getting ready all day for this ! We come every week and bring 8 people to eat and Karaoke…..We have talked this out and will no longer be coming there any longer..!All because the Truth wasn’t told !Happy New year
Great service, burgers were outstanding as well as the homemade chips. If you’re tired of the same old tourist food try this place out. A pleasant surprise.
Great Little Place, Killer Burgers. A limited menu with several unique appetizers and a fairly small number of entrees. The 8-oz. bacon and bleu cheese burger was moist and had a nice char on it from the grill, and the fresh potato chips were good. My only beef is there was only yellow mustard available. What is the infatuation with dull, boring, bland yellow kid’s mustard in this neck of the woods? Spring a few bucks for a couple of bottles of Gulden’s spicy brown for the adults.There are also two pool tables on the premises and several large televisions tuned to sports channels, luckily with the sound turned way down during my meal. Hate to eat food when these announcers are screaming and ranting about a whole lot of nothing. Anyway, will definitely make a return trip to sample an appetizer or two. In a few cases these were equal to or priced a just a bit higher than the main menu items. However, the burgers are the best reason to drop by this place and set for a spell.
Stopped in after a family trip to the USS Alabama before heading back to our condo on GS. Had the chicken sandwich with special sauce and a Philly cheesesteak and kids meals for the kids. All was really good. Hubby and I even enjoyed a game of poolWaiting for our food. Seems like a nonsmoking place even though it was a bar which was great especially since we had our 3 kids with us
