Ambiance: excellent. You cant beat the view – gorgeous setting with lots of windows, open air seating and view of beach. Sand play are outside, lots of fun decor and gift shop. Casual. Food: just ok. The menu is not exciting and has the same options as everywhere else – burgers, sandwiches and everything served with fries. Price point was $15+ for lunch. Kids meals are $8/9 + and is not anything special. The side of Mac and cheese would have been $5, but because we added to entree, it was only $3…the portion was very small and disappointing. Crab cake was tiny and large bun did not help appearance. Taste on sandwiches were good. Chicken fingers – meh. We had thought about dining here for thanksgiving, but at $29 pp we easily changed our mind. This place is way overpriced for the quality of food. Service: fine. We were initially sat at a table facing the sun…no one wanted to eat with eyes squinting, so we moved to a high top table – the tables are squeezed together very close and kids had difficulty getting in/out. Server made honest suggestions about menu choices. Received one small pre-filled to-go cup of ranch (for chicken fingers) and tarter sauce. Nothing here is made in-house.
