My experience has been that this place is only ok and surprisingly expensive. My typical order is steamed shrimp, royal reds or some type of oyster. And Ive found all of those to be only ok. Im not a big fan of this place despite its location near the center of the action.

The food was horrible. The steamed oysters weren’t really steamed, they left out food on a couple plates, the crab legs tasted weird, and the portions were tiny. Our bill was $60 and it was not worth it.

I had the grilled shrimp and they were good. Others got the blacken shrimp and royal reds. I will get the blacken shrimp next time. Everything was great.

Pretty good…looked like a long wait but they skillfully get people in and out of the place. Don’t look for fired food…it’s called Steamers for a reason. I had a nice 1/2lb of shrimp and reds (crawfish) which was served with new potatoes, a piece of corn (frozen) and slaw. Mom had a shrimp salad, sis had crab legs and the boys both had scallops. No one complained…all looked good and tasted great.Another positive….a super strong (ha ha ha) daiquiri. The first sip made my eyes bug!

Pulling up you’ll see a fairly obvious sign and a patio, they have a canopy with windows, so it’s an all weather patio. We are outside, the waitress had an Eastern European accent and was very polite and positive. She seemed a little confused on one small issue but otherwise gave us good advice to get the most out of our meal.I had the slider hamburgers and ordered two clusters of crab legs with potatoes and a side salad. The crab legs were great, the salad was salad, the potatoes were good, but I would not recommend the sliders. Seafood is their specialty so that was my mistake. The waitress took care of us well, and other than the sliders being crispy and chewy it was a great meal. I recommend them for a casual meal or a meal with friends but not for a nice date.

Don’t get it confused with Gulf Shores Steamers. For years we thought they were the same place. Turns out their seafood is more spicy. So if you’re looking for good spicy seafood, this is the place to go.

Yum yum yum. Oh my where to start. Great service and food. We ordered the steamer for six people. It fed about 4 adults and a child. Great food royal Reds were AMAZING and the crab legs were perfect.
