DIRTY, DISGUSTING- WILL NEVER RETURN. I took my family for dinner to the Waffle House in Gulf Shores, AL. I live in Gulf Shores but will NEVER return to this Waffle House. When we first walked in, the place was empty, not a single customer, but the place was a total disaster and disgustingly dirty. As we sat ourselves at a booth, we heard the staff- I believe there were four of them there (and no, not a one of them was trying to clean up the place)- we could hear them argueing over who was going to wait on us because not a single one of them wanted to. Then a young girl came over and threw our silverware on the table, and this I am not exaggerating- I should have taken a picture of it. From there it only got worse, the milk I ordered to drink was sour, my daughter’s orange juice tasted like dishwashing soap and the meal was not good at all. The table was dirty where we sat and the young girl who waited on us was so rude- never spoke to us except to take our order and never came back to the table once the food arrived. The staff were goofing off as if we weren’t even there and behaving completely inappropriately. I will never ever return here and will tell other of my terrible experience.
