Love eating here. The fried dill pickles and onion rings are great with their homemade ranch dressing. We had fried catfish papa po-boys and they were also delicious.
Pretty dang good.. My wife some friends and I went there while camping at the lake. All 4 of us had a good meal. The friends of ours both had the samplers and though they were great, I had the fried catfish and thought it was good, and the portions were huge. My wife is a vegetarian, she had a little trouble putting together a meal, but got the hush puppies that were great, and the fried green beans that were also great, and a salad that was nothing special, but was at least big. All and all a nice place and we would go back next time we go to the lake.
Ok, but not great. The gumbo was very watery and the shrimp creole way too spicy. However the shrimp and crawfish etoufee was pretty tasty. Overall experience was fair at best and I would not return. Happy Dining!
Really good food. Just to be sure, we ate there twice. The husband ate grilled grouper on cajun rice and he said it was really good. I dont like fish, but it sure looked good. The son had the crawdad tails and he ate them all..we had grilled homemade crab cakes that were some of the best I have ever eaten, and the fried mushrooms were huge..even the salads were fresh and good tasting. We had good service and left happy. I will go here again…and again.
Had better. My visit was just not any good. poor quality seafood . if they are going to be a seafood restaurant at least get some good quality. !!!wintzells oyster house and top of river are better
Great food! Fried pickles and hushpuppies are great. Tried the gumbo, red beans and rice, etc and it was all good. Very good coconut shrimp also.
Locally owned, great service and food. I like the tilapia with lobster sause on rice. My wife likes the chicken and sausage jumbalaya. They have the best onion rings you’ve ever had. The fried green beens are also a favoite before meal addition.
