Four times, four BAD experiences in food and service. Will never go here again!!!
Good Food for the BANG!. I ate at the saraland location and the portion for my food was superb homeade onion rings! which is a rarity we were staying in a hotel 2 exits up and knew we wanted seafood. I had so much food with 2 entrees and 1 appetizer! I had so much food that I gave the girl at the hotel counter 3 of each food item I had and was still full at the end!
Don’t order order steak … you WILL be disappointed!
Food was not good, service was not good, prices were high. waste of time and money.
We ate there Sunday lunch 12/16/12 service was terrible/ food portions were small and baked potato was warmed up from night before-rice was crunchy and dried out – probably reheated. Won’t go to this wintzells again. It gives the wintzells in Mobile a bad name. Very overpriced!
Terrible. I do not recommend this place–it is overpriced and they are stingy with the food they bring. I don’t mind paying for the food as long as the quality is there, but here it is NOT. The oysters on the half-shell were good but everything else was stale and cold. They brought me a salad full of brown lettuce and the dressing had been watered down. It was disgusting. The fried oysters were soggy with grease and the huspuppies were hard. We shouldn’t have paid for this disgusting meal but we did and decided never to go back.
Good food but pricey. We live in guntersville and have eaten at wintzell’s a few times. The food and service has always been good, but it is over priced, so we dont eat there much.
