We ate here tonight and it was superb. Honestly, the best tasting food and you can’t beat the price. . Great job Bluff Park Diner, Gordon and Julie Saunders, and staff…..oh yeah my first time eating pecan cobbler…it was delish. If you haven’t eaten here you’re missing out. We will be back.
Fantastic food, fantastic people, fantastic location. I’m no connoisseur of meat & 3s, but I’ve had my fair share of lunch-line southern cuisine and this place definitely ranks in my top 3 favorites. I frequent this place, and have never left less than satisfied. Give it a try; if you end up disliking your meal the view across the street will almost certainly make up for your disappointment.
Cafeteria Food. But worse. Great location unfortunately not great food
Just got done eating. Food was just warm, not hot as it is supposed to be served. Floor in dining room was filthy. Last trip for me.
Average at Best. This place is average at best. I have eaten there three times and tried different meats and veggies each time and have never been blown away by the quality of any selections. Its not that cheap either – not too bad but $6.00 for a meat and veggie, $8.00 for a meat and two veggies – doesn’t include drink. The best thing I’ve tried is the banana pudding. The staff is down right rude too. I think some of the other reviewers have tried to take it easy on the staff b/c they like the food but don’t expect anything but bad service here. Overall, if you are in Bluff Park there are not many other choices, especially for a diner type experience, so give it a shot. If you are not absolutely set on getting a meat and veggies, I do think you would be more satisfied walking across the street to Tip Top Grill or driving down the road to Mr. P’s.
Good Food Bad Attitudes. I usually eat here twice a week and the food is always good. The only complaint I would have is the attitude of some of the staff. Everybody has the occasional bad day but apparently bad days are the norm here. A fake smile and a friendly greeting would go a long way towards customer retention.
The Turkey and stuffing might have been the best I have had in years….
