First visit and definitely my favorite Mexican restaurant! Pollo quesadilla scrumptious! Gigantic margarita and guacamole with chips…. Oh yes! Great waitress too. Friendly, helpful, attentive, but not intruding! Also had a great menu. We will certainly rerun
I have been going to El Taco Loco for over a year now and is very consistent, the service is friendly and professional, the meals are delicious, everything I’ve order has been great and you get a lot of bang for your buck. A PLUS love this place!
This place is outstanding! A cut above your typical Mexican joint. The food is fresh and flavorful, and portions are generous. I had carnitas tacos and a chicken quesadilla. The pork in the tacos was nice and tender and delicious. Plus the tacos were filled to the brim. Served with onions and cilantro, as well as a couple of slices of cucumber on the side, the tacos were some of the best I’ve had anywhere. The chicken quesadilla was outstanding as well. The chicken was just as tender as the pork in the tacos, seasoned and grilled to perfection before being enveloped in a toasty, buttery flour tortilla with melty cheese and grilled green bell peppers and onions. Plus the quesadilla was enormous! If you love good Mexican food you should definitely check this place out.

Lip smaking. If I drive past ETC, even if I’m not hungry, I have to go in for an Al Pastor taco. $1.50 for sweet roasted meat, a little pineapple, some onions & cilantro, on a homemade corn tortilla. With free warm chips and tasty salsa. When almost all the other patrons are Latino, you know you’re in the right place. Yummy, Clean, Good service (especially since they see me a lot!)
Disappointing. I really really wanted El Taco Loco to be great. The positive reviews and high ratings had me excited to try this hole-in-the-wall. Unfortunately, El Taco Loco failed miserably. For starters, the Mexican restaurant didn’t offer margaritas. What the f? That should’ve been our signal to leave. My ladyfriend and I ordered a mix of tacos – chorizo, chicken, pork, al pastor, barbacoa – and even at a $1.50 each, they were overpriced. The meat was overcooked and much of it was riddled with fat. Lastly it took a good fifteen minutes for our waitress to bring the check and swipe my card. She was way more interested in watching the telenovela than serving her customers.I will not be back.
Fantastic. It’s where both the Hispanic population and anyone who is fortunate enough to know about it come to eat. Burrito Loco with steak is the best Mexican dish I’ve ever had.
