We tried takeout from here simply because it was the closest Chinese restaurant to my friend’s apartment. I was not expecting much when I tried it, but I was surprised after one bite. This is probably one of my new favorite Chinese takeout places now. The dishes are very well seasoned and the textures are maintained despite the sauces. Where most takeout restaurants use the same or indistinguishably similar sauces for their dishes, each of Great Wall’s dishes taste unique and fresh. My favorite was the spicy chicken. There were pieces of fried ginger and jalapeos along with other peppers and herbs. I definitely recommend this to my friends. Oh! And he portions are huuuuge!

Don’t waste your time. Very Disappointed. Our entire (5people) office ordered Chinese food to go for lunch last Friday 5/22/15. Not one person was happy with their food… All of their entrees had little to no meat. The house fried rice was all rice, not even egg or vegetables to make up for them lacking in the meat department. We had two different people order their sweet and sour special and that was supposed to come with chicken and shrimp, NOPE just charged the extra price for only sweet and sour chicken ON BOTH. The hot and sour soup wasn’t bad but also lacking in what is usually in the soup, or to be more direct it wasn’t memorable. Unfortunately, I saw a bunch of good reviews on here that made me suggest / persuade this place to my coworkers. I really wanted to like this place, but none of us will ever be back. The one good thing I can say about this place is that the checkout lady greeting people at the front was extremely nice!

Quick, friendly, tasty!. We ate here for the third time tonight. Just like always, the staff was incredibly nice and our food was served pretty darn quick. I had the sesame shrimp and my date had the whole fried sweet and sour fish (red snapper). Everything we’ve had here has been amazing, and tonight was so worth it!17 May, 2015Quick, friendly, tasty!. The Cook is cluless about Szechuan cuisine !. The Lunch Menu lists SZECHUAN BEEF and SZECHUAN chicken, which look and actually taste like Mongolian Beef and Mongolian Chicken with lot of sweetness from brown sugar. They did not at all have the chilibean paste and the SZECHUAN peppercorns in them that characterize the Szhchuan cuisine. When this error was brought to the attention of the head attendant, he said that the only difference between Mongolian Beef and SZECHUAN BEEF is that the latter has carrots in it ! The Cook at the restaurant is totally cluless about how to cook SZECHUAN dishes. .
