This is your typical Chinese buffet food, so if that’s what your wanting, it’s perfect! I get the take out here, and it always hits the spot.

Great place to eat. Wide variety of food and the folks are extremely friendly. The place is clean and easy to get to for lunch or dinner. Highly recommend!!

Worst place we’ve ever eaten.. My family was in town for the weekend to tour UAB and stayed at a hotel across from Mr. Wang’s. We wanted to eat close so we tried Mr. Wang’s restaurant on Sat., Feb 21st at 7:52pm. We walked in and a guy is at the front desk talking on the phone and ignoring us. He finally waved a lady over to seat us. She showed us to a booth and got our drink orders. We then get to the buffet only to find it almost empty and what is there looks old and overcooked. We thought that they would bring new food out soon since it was almost empty, so we just got a spoonful of this and that until new stuff came out. Well nothing ever came out. Apparently this place stops stocking the buffet after 8pm on a Saturday. Really, you couldn’t tell us that up front. Oh no you were too busy talking on the phone…. and still are. So needless to say, after only a plate each, we leave. It cost over $40 for 4 of us to eat a couple of spoonfuls each of nasty old food. We then go across the street to the Taco Bell and get some decent food. Our family loves food and tries to eat at each city we visit on our travels, but we will NEVER venture to this place again.

Great for family, friendly and clean!. We have been going to Mr. Wang’s for many years and thoroughly enjoy the clean, friendly atmosphere. The owners and staff are friendly, attentive, and the food is plentiful and very good. Try the vegetable lo mein, green beans and the spicy teriyaki chicken. Definitely a thumbs up!

This is an Asian buffet and although the food isn’t awful it’s just above that in the maybe average. It’s fine for maybe a cheap eat but the food isn’t really good. Personally I would just rather get less and enjoy what I am eating instead of getting a ton and just eating to feed my body. But it’s up to you.

The reviews seem a little off. I go here probably twice a week and have absolutely no complaints! The staff seats you quickly, always keeps your drink filled and the food is hot and fresh. I always eat lunch here so I can’t speak to the dinner menu, but the lunch buffet is outstanding. The crab rangoons are great and I have yet to try anything from the buffet that wasn’t good. Must try!
