Falafel. Fairly ubiquitous, right? Not really. Sam’s does the best falafel in Birmingham…and I have made it my life’s mission to try them all.Not sure exactly what they do…but either in the plate or in the gyro, it’s the best in town.
Disappointed. We ordered two kafta plates to go tonight for dinner. On our way to pick up our food, they called to say they only had enough kafta for one plate. We cancelled our order and turned around and went home. We will be back in the future because we are big fans of this restaurant– but have enough kafta next time!!!!
My family eats here once a week and we love it. The hamburgers and fries are great it is the best money value anywhere the staff is so friendly
Eat at Sam’s a bunch with the family. Sam and his crew are awesome. Tried the mushroom-onion-swiss burger for first time on his rec and was blown away at how awesome it was. Can’t wait for my next one….or any gyro/chicken plate, too!
Love this place. Great food and friendly employees. I eat here at least once a week. One of my favorites is the cheeseburger and fries. Delicous!

Favorite Burger in town. Love, love, love Sam’s. The food is fantastic, especially the french fries, burgers, and omelettes. The mint tea is a delightful refreshment on a hot day. I am moving from Homewood soon and the main reason I will miss Homewood is not able to eat at Sam’s. Also, the staff and owner are fantastic. So kind!!
