Wanted a Philly cheese steak, and heard this place was pretty good. But they wanted to put mustard and lettuce on it (Good Lord!), and the fries had that dang seasoning salt on them. And to top it off, it came on pita bread. A Philly cheese steak on pita bread. Have mercy.Service was good and the people were nice. Just wouldn’t know a Philly cheese steak if it crawled out their tailpipe and bit them on the nose.
SAMs deli is a cool little Mediterranean place tucked in the heart of Edgewood. We went for dinner and was greeted by the owner at the register who also makes your food. I had a burger and my wife had the philly. The portions were large and the food was pretty good. You only have the option to sit outside so go on a cool day or at night. Neat place
