Good service. Chicken served with waffles was too tough to eat. My daughter and wife enjoyed their breakfast. $46 including 15% tip for 3 adults.
The biscuits are pretty awesome, as are the skillets. Sometimes later in the afternoon when the big huge rushes end though, it can be inconsistent. I wish it wasn’t the case, because that inconsistency means the parents won’t be back, but I will be if in the area. Good food.
Love the atmosphere in this place, open and nice with outside and inside seating. Good portions and tasty food.They serve octane coffee, aka good coffee!!!
This place gets crowded on Sunday’s! But I guess that’s a good thing. When you go make sure to get the fresh squeezed OJ. The food is delicious, wish I had come here more often during my time in Birmingham.
If you haven’t tried this place you have to! The creole omelet is the best! Great environment, food, the best coffee, and great service! It’s a must try!

Top 5 best brunches I’ve had in Birmingham. I got the hog parlor croissant and it was delicious. The bloody mary was rimmed with Tabasco salt. I have been to a few of his other restaurants in Oxford, MS and this one is one of my favorites. So glad to have it on 280. A must go for sure!
