Small little place inside a gas station. You will love the food there. It is surprising the number if customers they has for a weeknight. Most people order ahead of time and pass for a pick up. We tried the spring rolls with the delicious sauce. You will not be disappointed…
Best pad Thai I’ve ever had, super fast and friendly service. Will be visiting this hidden gem frequently, now that I know how close it is! No logical reason for this to not be rated higher.
The fact this place has a 3.0 rating at the time of this review is illogical, maybe people were expecting their food to have 100 grams of sugar in it like every other American Thai place in town? Come here if you want no frills, delicious, traditional, affordable Thai food. Go somewhere else if you’re looking to impress a hot date but if you’re looking to Netflix and chill, add Blue Pacific takeout to the equation and you will without a doubt find yourself in the capital of Thailand, Bangkok.
Under fluorescent lights, next to drink coolers and an aisle of slim jims and vienna sausages, some of the best Thai Food can be found. Better than Birmingham strongholds such as Surin or Taste of Thailand. Don’t let the gas station turn you off. This spot has one of the cleanest kitchens I’ve seen and red curry and laab to die for.
This place was really good. The Laap was excellent with the green chili sauce added. The soup was very authentic tasting. The price just seemed a little high for one bowl. The pad thai was good as well. The service was all over the place, but the food was good enough that I will definitely be back.
Superior Thai menu at a convenience gas store. Garlic pork & chicken are very flavorful. Fried dumplings are excellent–I wish they steamed them, but Thai cuisine may not do that! Specials of the day are a good choice–Tom Yam Kung on Fridays is great and so is the Green Curry on Saturday. Please take a chance on them when you are in Hoover–their menu is a treat!
This place is awesome. Totally unexpected, but is very affordable and extremely good food. They try to re-create the way Thai cuisine is served in Thailand, not America. Garlic pork is served with a side of White rice with a fried egg placed on top. Absolutely delicious.
