This cozy, family-owned restaurant is simply the best, most-authentic Thai food to be found for miles and miles and miles. Begin with the basics: their Pad Thai and Pad-see-oo, the Pad-woon-sen, and the curry dishes (try the Red Curry Noodle Bowl — you can thank me later) are mind-blowingly good. And give their Chicken Wings appetizer a try — the sauce on that dish is fabulous! We’ve dined here many, many times, and there’s simply nothing on the menu that’s not outstanding. The presentation of the dishes is lovely and the hospitality beggars belief. The owner and staff know the majority of their customers by name — and the place is busy! Sam and the staff have accomplished the impossible — they have turned a former convenience store with gas pumps into a beloved neighborhood hangout. Do NOT go in expecting fancy. Instead, prepare yourself for Thai home cooking, and to be welcomed like you’re part of the family.
