Great! Love this place! Only complaint – don’t have a lot of high chairs with buckles that work. Otherwise, consistently good food and service! Try it for yourself.
It was awful. I will never go there again. Mexican places are known for margaritas. I had one and it was straight mix. NO alcohol in it. And then on top of that the price of $9 for it made me angry. And the food was horrible as well. Looked like the took it straight out of a can. Rating of a 0 (zero)
CAN’T UNDERSTAND ENGLISH AND RUDE!!!. I ordered 3 SOFT tacos no lettuce and picked it up to go. Got back to the office and checked my order and they are HARD tacos…. I called and spoke with the girl who answers and she obviously doesn’t unserstand/ speak english well so she passes me to someone else. The lady was trying to take my order again and wasn’t understanding that they had messed up my order I just had picked up. So she hands the phone to someone else and then I try to explain again and she tells me shes sorry and then proceeds to hang up on me. How are you sorry if you wont exchange my food, refund my money or even speak with me for that matter? I CAN NOT COMPREHEND WHY IT IS SO HARD TO GET STUPID TACOS RIGHT!!!!!!! F’ING REDICULOUS!
Worst Mex I’ve ever had in the nicest place I’ve ever had it.. When we noticed there were no cars or customers, we should have heeded. When we noticed the place smelled clean but not tasty, we should have heeded. However this place is in a great location, it is cute, it is classy and well decorated, great music, excellent wait staff. The food is horrible. With a name like Habaneros you would expect this place has a spice rack, some onion and peppers. No, I don’t think they know what a spice is. All of our dishes were filled with cooked ground beef, cooked as in browned (and grayish) and that is it. Browned beef has no flavor and what flavor it does have, is bad. That’s the basis in all of their dishes, it’s cooked and that’s it. Luckily for us, we have a human garbage disposal in our family, not sure he even tastes his food. He ate everything we didn’t want, which was everything after two bites. However, he drown it all in salsa to do it. So one of my sons got $45 in rejected meals for dinner and we left to hit the Krystal so the rest of us could get full. Clearly the locals are avoiding it, we spoke with two other tables that came in just before we left, they had never been there before either. We passed two other Mex places nearby, not nearly as cute and inviting, but crowded parking lots and people smiling coming and going. Avoid Habaneros, it’s worse than low grade dog food which is what Taco Bell is classified as for public consumption.

Rip Off ad Rude!. Came in Saturday to pick up a bag of chips/salsa and Pico to go for the football game. Rude cashier told me the cost was $16.95 – I asked her for what? She tried to explain but it did not make sense. After going back and forth 3 times, a waitress who saw the interaction between us came to the front and asked the cashier what was going on – they spoke in Spanish (of course) and the waitress could not understand how the cashier was getting $16.95 either especially when a bag of chips/salsa on the menu is $2.95. The waitress tried to explain, but even with adding $50 cents PER ITEM, (3 items – bag of chips, salsa, pico) she could not come up with the $16.95 cost either The cashier was speaking louder and louder to the waitress in Spanish and I finally said, that is ok, I don’t want it. Before I left, 3 additional members of the staff had came to the front – all laughing and talking in Spanish as I was leaving. No reason to be rude or disrespectful for any reason or to RIP OFF a customer by trying to triple charge for what would have been FREE if I was eating inside of the restaurant. Went to Iguana Grill, they were happy to accommodate my chip/salsa/pico request and not charge me a ridiculous price. Not wasting my time again at Habaneros.
Rude Manager. My daughter, granddaughter and I went in for lunch. We were not greeted so we stood there waiting to be greeted or something. The manager was standing behind the counter talking to an employee ignoring us. So I asked her, do we seat ourselves? She said No! Hold on and rolled her eyes and had someone seat us. The manager said something to our waitress and then she was rude. So we just went to pay to leave and the manager checked us out and didn’t ask how our meal was or anything! And for the price I spent $12 just myself it wasn’t worth the rudeness! Definitely will not be going back neither will my family or friends. Not worth the hassle.
