I came here for lunch with a friend. This was my first experience, and undoubtedly my last. I ordered the lunch fajitas, 1/2 chicken 1/2 steak. First off, whether Id gotten chicken or steak, it wouldve been the same price. 1/2 and 1/2, they tack on more than it wouldve cost for the shrimp! That just doesnt make sense. I asked for hot sauce – Cholula, El Yucateco, anything! – but they dont have any. This was for my meal, but also because the salsa with the chips had a terrible taste that I didnt want on my fajitas…and no spice/heat whatsoever. When my plate arrived (1/2 & 1/2 chicken & steak, there were only two tiiiiny pieces of steak. Several pieces of the chicken had weird hard parts on it that werent edible. The guacamole was brown, and the pico and sour cream served had frozen chunks in it! Not one bit fresh! The only things I cant complain about were the tortillas with my fajitas and the rice. Like I said, this was my first and last time. My recommendation for similar price point & style – Tecate, just down 31 in Vestavia by Newks
