My new favorite Chinese!. Stopped in by chance 3 or 4 weeks ago and was blown away by the service. The restaurant is very clean, staff is incredibly friendly and the food was everything I could have asked. The hot and sour soup is a+. I’ve been for dinner twice now and overall it’s the best experience I’ve had in ages. The food is great, but combined with the service and care of the staff it’s a home run.
I never want to taste anything again. Die tastebuds, DIE!. My lady brought home take out. The pork-fried rice tasted like nothing. The sesame chicken tasted like nothing with some sugar on it. The eggrolls were ok; or at least the shell was.. if you like deep-fried noodles swimming in grease (who doesn’t, right?) The Mongolian Beef. Well I don’t like Mongolian Beef, and it was the best thing we got. (Ordered it thinking of beef and broc.) The fried wanton…. Tasted like a dead skunk, days old. I am angry- I feel as though I’ve been assaulted. I want to call the police but fear I may not be able to speak. I have had horrible Chinese, and since I live in Alabama, I expect it. But this made the worst look great.
Mr.p. Live in Hoover, very close to this place and drive by all the time, not thinking twice about stopping. One evening a couple weeks ago my wife and I decided to give Them a shot after being completely overlooked at another (otherwise very good) Chinese restaurant in Hoover. Anyway, the food here was excellent and tho we had no expectations, they more than likely would have been exceeded! Chicken looked, and tasted fresh and real, not like that ultra-breaded mystery meat you may get at other Asian dining. Rice and veggies were great as well. Service was perfect and there are even a couple tv’s inside. Nothing loud enough to distract from the great, frence atmosphere, but for those who don’t want to miss out on their college football… No worries! We WILL be going back!
Favorite Chinese. I have been going to Happy China for a number of years and always have had great food. Mongolian beef is especially good. It is new remodeled.
The food is delish! The staff is friendly. We usually do take out. But a newly renovated dining room is beautiful! The owner carried my take out bag one cold night when I had my hands full with an infant! So thoughtful.
My potstickers ( I buy this brand for my home) came from the grocery store and were not cooked correctly. Not worth the price for something I can do myself, I will not be back
Consistently good. No matter how many times we try another Chinese place we always are disappointed and come back to Happy China. Their wings are awesome and the crab rangoons are amazing. They have great portion sizes that leave plenty for leftovers.
