Not impressed. Food was a bit bland. poor service.meat still tough and vegetables over cooked
Never again. Service was pathetic, my water sat empty forever, my rice was undercooked in spots, and my chicken tasted old almost like it had just been reheated. Do not waste your money!
Pretty good food, very good service.. Chinese food is not my favorite, but my husband and sons love it, so we eat it periodically. Yesterday after church we went to Hunan Garden for lunch with some friends. Our waiter was very friendly and helpful. He also had a good sense of humor. 🙂 This also applied to the older lady at the desk who was running the cash register. An eggroll and bowl of soup were included in the price of lunch. They had combination lunches for $7.95. My husband got the lunch special, Mongolian something, and was pleased with it. The almond chicken, sesame chicken, sweet and sour shrimp, and Triple Crown were all enjoyed by various members of our group. The ingredients were fresh and the dishes tasty. The shrimp were large, plump, and fresh tasting, not chewy and tough like some places we have been. 🙁 Chinese food is still not my favorite, but Hunan Garden was acceptable to me and greatly appreciated by the Chinese food lovers in our group.29 Sep, 2014Pretty good food, very good service.. So Disappointed. I always love this place at lunch, but went to dinner for the first time there last night. The waiter could not stay off his phone long enough to server us correctly. I understand that the prices at dinner time are higher because the portions are larger, but an egg roll is included in the lunch meals, but you have to pay extra for egg rolls at dinner. This makes no sense to me. The cashier could have cared less that I was unhappy. Very disappointed.
Never been treated so rudely by a restaurant. Walked in at 8:30 and they close at 9 and it was obvious by the lack of service that they did not want us there. However there were several tables that had not been served so kitchen was open. It was so obvious that other patrons were commenting to is about the lack of service. I have eaten at the restaurant numerous times in the past but my shadow will not darken their threshold again.Food is average
The best and good price. This is by far my favorite Chinese restaurants. The food always tastes fresh and the price is right.
