  This place is a joke. They didn’t even have half of the items I wanted to order. Why run seasonal specials if you’re never going to have them available? I ordered 3 powdered lemon filled, but received 3 glazed lemon filled. I ordered 3 chocolate iced custard filled, but received 3 chocolate iced kreme filled. They didn’t have powdered blueberry. No cinnamon apple filled. None of the seasonal Santa Belly or Snowman ones either. They had regular glazed. And while those are good, those were not what I wanted. So if I wanted anything from here, I was forced to get either regular glazed, maple iced or blueberry cake. The ones I did get were hard and cold and just plain nasty. What has happened to this place??? And the best part was I didn’t even realize they got my order wrong until I’d gotten home. Naturally. So I called the store and a woman named Katrina answered and I asked to speak to a manager and she then hung up on me. Needless to say, i WILL NEVER go to this place again. If I could rate this store less than 0 I would.

  What has happened?????. I’ve always considered the Hoover location to be one of the best…. Until recently. I’ve been in twice in the last 3 weeks. My bad experience came in the form of not having doughnuts. I love the chocolate iced creme filled doughnuts. A KK classic. They did not have a single one. On top of that, my son wanted a Halloween themed doughnut, and they were all out. I brushed it off as an anomaly. Earlier I mentioned I live the chocolate iced cream filled doughnut. I refuse to go to KK locations that do not ice their doughnuts automatically. At the Hoover location, it was never a problem. Until today. I purchased a dozen chocolate iced cream filled, and returned home to find chocolate …. Cream filled. Not so tasty. What’s gives Hoover store???? Management? Cutting corners? Get back to your old self!

  I have never gotten bad doughnuts from Krispy Kreme – but I did today!!. I love Krispy Kreme, have for years but today’s visit had to be the worst ever. Krispy Kreme #279 Hoover. Hubby went there this morning took forever. I asked him when he got home. Why it took so long, this is what he told me: he stated the girl running cash register was complaining more about the store then ringing people up. She stated she had no help, manager did not know anything about what he was doing, very disorganized, she was going to have to work an extra shift cause they can’t keep any help, manager was so disorganized he didnt even know how to make doughnuts and she said this to EVERY person that went to the cash register. He said there was only one girl boxing up the doughnuts and she was so busy she handed the boxes to the customers to take to cash register, usually person who boxes up takes them to state to cash register person what was in the boxes. The doughnuts he brought home where the worst I have EVER gotten from Krispy Kreme: the glazed something was off – glaze was gritty; chocolate covered kreme filled – only had a tiny little bit of cream and bottom of doughnut was plain & dry. This story never has the new doughnuts (carrot cake & banana) This is worst experience we have ever had with Krispy Kreme.
