So very kind and reasonably priced I will definitely be going back there for a pie soon. The cinnamon buns are amazing! I’m so glad there’s a place that understands my brothers allergies.
Gluten free goodness…. My mother has a gluten allergy, so I regularly find myself cooking and eating gluten-free food. When it comes to baked goods, it is really difficult to turn out a great cake or cookie without using regular flour. Anyone that can do it well, deserves an award… The Funky Muffin knows how to do it, and they’re turning out awesome donuts, oatmeal cookies, and more. In a blind taste test, you would never know that the product is gluten free. Well done…

Friendly staff, fun and tasty food!. It’s awesome to have a dedicated gluten free bakery in the Birmingham area! I’m excited to see the things they’re doing and are hoping to do. They do have a facebook page where they upload pictures of new items.For gluten free, I think they’re reasonably priced. Also, they have doughnuts! Freaking donuts!! XD
Fantastic. These guys are amazing. Whether you need to be gluten free or you’re just looking for something new, this place won’t disappoint. Their menu is huge and entirely gluten free. Out of all the gluten free bakeries I’ve tried out in the southeast, The Funky Muffin stands at the top. The blueberry muffins are good. The orange cranberry muffins are incredible. The cinnamon buns are hands down the best gluten free cinnamon buns I’ve ever had. The cupcakes are fantastic with cake that actually tastes like vanilla with the right amount of sweetness. The consistency that all gluten free baked goods have is your only clue that the cupcakes are gluten free because the taste certainly won’t clue you in. And man oh man, the apple pie leaves me without words.The service is top notch and friendly as well. You can also phone in an order for whatever you want and they’ll have it ready for you ASAP. The Funky Muffin is a game changer for gluten free treats and Birmingham is lucky to have them!
