Today I tried the New Baumhower’s Restaurant. I have longbeen an avid customer of Baumhower’s, even when it was called Wings. I’vealways found the foodto be excellent, and service as well. However, I gotmy first disappointment today! I found the food and service to be good asalways, but this new open seating arrangement, had a noise level that wasintolerable in my opinion, and I’ll bet close to 90 decibels (Ormore),which is an industryrequirement of ear plugs!I noticed the serversandcustomers of adjacent tables, were having to lean in to talk to eachother.When people couldn’t hear, they would just talk louder, so thenoise level just fed on it’s self. I left today with my ears ringing, anddampened enthusiasm about going back.
