A real BBQ joint. Big Cove is a real BBQ joint. The decor is not fancy and the exterior is not the focus of the restaurant. When I visited the there were several groups of regular customers that came through. You could tell by the way they were greeted and the way they ordered. The food was very good. Not the best bar-be-que I’ve ever eaten, but good enough to get me to return. The BBQ plate was hue for the price and quite tasty. The sides seemed to be home made and were all very good.

Wonderful. I love this place and the food is great. The staff is very nice and makes you feel like you’ve known them for years. It’s nice to have a home style place in the fast pace world we live in. All these chain restaurants taste the same and Big Cove is better than grand mommas. Thank you for your great food and service.

Well kept secret!. We’ve driven past Big Cove BBQ countless times but just recently stopped there to eat. What a pleasant surprise! It was the best BBQ we’ve had in the area! Very friendly owners, great service and generous portions (their baked potatoes are HUGE!). Family friendly with several tables for eating inside plus nice enclosed patio seating. Great place for a quick bite or takeout! A definite repeat for us!
Best BBQ around been eating here half my life. Food is awesome service is great as well. Reasonably priced and huge portions. 1000 times better than lawlers or gibsons or Thomas pit. Everyone I have ever took there has loved it. Glad they r apart of the big cove community.
