Worst dining experience ever. I just wasted TWO HOURS of my Mother’s Day at this restaurant. What began as a lovely brunch with my husband & 3 grown children ended with an empty stomach & full blown anger. The service was horrific. We ordered easy items from the brunch menu & literally were served our food TWO hours later! i ordered quiche that was already made and only needed to be heated up & plated….served freezing cold after TWO hours! Only one employee was even apologetic. I will never visit this place again. Mother’s Day was absolutely ruined! Thanks Juno!
Great food, delightful ambiance. Moving from cities that have achieved culinary excellence time and time again (Dallas, Houston, San Diego) we have repeatedly been let down by what Huntsville has to offer. One exception occurred last night when my wife and I, on a whim, visited Brasserie Juno; we had such a great evening out at this incredible restaurant! I am so grateful for everything that Brasserie Juno had to offer. But I will say that we were unable to to sample the entrees; we filled up on their perfectly constructed charcuterie board, but did save enough room for the decadent and delightfully balanced chocolate cake. Great wine. Wonderful live jazz. Ambiance that was so perfect for an evening out. We cannot wait until our next time out for dinner so we can go back to Brasserie Juno for another wonderful dining experience!
New Best Restaurant in Town. Went on a recent Friday night, unsure if we’d be able to get a table without a reservation but we did and even if we’d have had to wait, it would’ve been well worth it! The food is excellent and the prices so very reasonable. As an added bonus, we got to enjoy some absolutely amazing entertainment in the form of Frank Sinatra style crooning which made the meal all the more enjoyable. Can’t say enough about this place. We loved it so much, we’re going back this Friday and bringing along another couple. Give it a try! You won’t be disappointed.
Best meal in months. This evening was probably the finest presented meal we have had this year. From the special crab cakes to the chicken with bordelaise mushroom sauce to the perfectly prepared red snapper, the meal and service was absolutely superb. Kep up the great work. Complements to the new chef and his team.John and Becky Hacker
Great food!. I’ve eaten here several times now and the food has always been excellent! The live music was great as well- one time they had an accordion player and another time a crooners singer – love the uniqueness! I didn’t wait long to be seated and the service was wonderful. I would recommend this place to anyone:)
Slooooooooow Service….. About the slowest service of a restaurant in Huntsville – compares to the Huntsville Airport’s baggage claim! Took 10 minutes for our server to notice we were at a table…I had to go to the bar to get water refills…had to pour our own wine…the only decent service we received was when we asked for the check – and then it had an ‘extra’ bottle of wine that ‘the computer must have added…it’s acting crazy tonight’….advertised with live jazz – only could hear recorded jazz in the bathrooms…definitely not worth the nearly $100 we spent tonight for two meals and a bottle of wine.
Brasserie Juno took over the space previously occupied by Cafe Berlin a few months ago, offering a largely French-inspired menu. But that for some reason was not working, so the owners closed for a few weeks, hired a new chef, and re-opened last week with a new menu that adds Italian and German-inspired offerings. When we dined there the day after they reopened, you couldn’t tell they hadn’t been open for months. The wait staff are attentive without being obsequious. There is a fullbar and a decent wine list, nearly all of which is available by the glass. The menu has a nice mix of small plates and entrees. My wife had the escargot in garlic butter followed by a small plate of smoked chicken ravioli in a hazelnut cream sauce. The escargot were perfectly cooked ( they are all too easy to overcook,) and the sauce was not overwhelmingly saturated with garlic. The ravioli were a perfect small plate serving, and so rich that an entree portion would have been excessive. I had the salade de maison (baby greens, candied nuts, dried fruit, goat cheese, and a honey Dijon vinaigrette.) I followed that with the evening’s special: a pan-cooked duck breast with a cranberry gastrique, butternut squash pure, and Brussels sprouts in a pancetta cream sauce. Great assortment of flavors and textures. We finished by sharing the Brie en croute with tart apple compote, coffee, and port. With a glass of wine each a very enjoyable dinner came to $105 before the tip. We will be going back.
